Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the House of Ella Jay Recruitment website or any of our services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. About Us

House of Ella Jay Recruitment Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate as a premium enterprise recruitment agency, providing talent acquisition services to employer organisations and career placement support to candidates.

References to 'we', 'us', or 'our' in these terms refer to House of Ella Jay Recruitment Ltd. References to 'you' refer to the individual or organisation accessing our website or using our services.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

You must not transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material, or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website, the server on which our website is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our website.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our website at any time without notice if we believe you have breached these terms.

3. Employer Accounts and Subscriptions

Employers may register for an account on our portal to access our recruitment services. By registering, you confirm that you are authorised to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of your organisation.

We offer three subscription tiers — Essential, Professional, and Enterprise — billed on a monthly recurring basis. Full details of each plan, including pricing and included services, are set out on our Pricing page.

Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis via our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method on each renewal date.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Vacancy Advertising

Subscribed employers may post vacancies on our public job board as part of their subscription. Vacancies must be genuine, lawful, and accurately described.

Non-subscribed employers may submit vacancy advertising enquiries via our enquiry form. Submission of an enquiry does not constitute a binding agreement; we will contact you to discuss terms separately.

We reserve the right to remove or decline any vacancy posting that we consider to be inaccurate, misleading, discriminatory, or otherwise in breach of applicable employment law.

You must not post vacancies that discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, as prohibited by the Equality Act 2010.

5. Candidate Registration

Candidates may register a profile on our platform, including uploading a CV and providing professional information. By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.

By submitting your profile and CV, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to share your information with relevant employer clients as part of our recruitment process. You may withdraw your profile at any time by contacting us.

Candidate registration and use of the public candidate search facility is provided free of charge. We do not charge candidates for any aspect of our recruitment services.

You must not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information. We reserve the right to remove any candidate profile that we believe to be inaccurate or in breach of these terms.

We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for ensuring your device and systems are adequately protected.

We do not guarantee the suitability of any candidate for any vacancy, or the suitability of any vacancy for any candidate. Hiring decisions remain entirely at the discretion of the employer.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
